Lama dah aku cari filem ni. Suatu ketika dulu aku konon minat la arthouse filem ni so habis aku geledah internet nak cari filem-filem art ni. Terjumpa DVD ni in Criterion. Tapi tak juma versi biasa (Criterion mahal wooo). Sekali boleh jumpa pulak kat rental. Apa lagi. Terus sewa.Sangka aku ini adalah cerita seram (hantu) rupa-rupanya tidak. Cerita suspen/drama macam tu. Ala-ala Hitchcock (aku main taram je ni). Filemnya slow, building karektornya agak mantap tapi ending, fuh... bini pun geleng kepala.
Ada remake by Hollywood dengan tajuk The Vanishing jugak, tapi ikut kata imdb.com, endingnya ending happy. Tak macam ori. Ending sadis.
Apa yang sadis? Kena tengok sendiri la. Memang berbaloi!
Rex and Saskia are on holiday, a young couple in love. They stop at a busy service station and Saskia disappears. Rex dedicates the next three years trying to find her.
